♦ Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce has hired Kristina Holmes as vice president of member relations and communications. She previously was tcommunity and government affairs manager for the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority and is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne.

♦Jorgensen Family YMCA announces its board of directors for 2008-2009. ♦ Allen County Sheriff's Department announced the following promotions: Ronald W. Rayl has been promoted to captain of internal affairs; Norman S. Huffine has been promoted to lieutenant in the warrants division; Michael A. Bennington has been promoted to sergeant in the warrants division; Anthony J. Pape, Brian M. Jarboe and Gerald R. Hogan have all been promoted to corporal in the criminal investigations division.

♦ Allen County Bar Association elected Douglas E. Johnston,Tourkow, Crell, Rosenblatt and Johnston partner, as president for 2008-2009. Other officers elected are: Magistrate Jennifer DeGroote, Allen Superior Court, president elect; Daniel G. McNamara, Eilbacher Fletcher LLP, vice president; and Holly A. Brady, Haller & Colvin P.C., secretary. New directors elected are: R. David Boyer II, Boyer & Boyer; V. Scott Kingdon, Lincoln National Life Insurance Co.; Grant A.
