Accused molester faces more charges

Additional charges have been filed against a Fort Wayne man accused of having sex with a then-15-year-old boy.Dale K. Tucker was charged Thursday in Allen County Superior Court with three additional counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Tucker, 57, of the 3900 block of Stone Creek Run, had been charged Monday with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Tucker is accused of having oral sex with the boy and masturbation on multiple occasions between Dec. 1 and March 29, according to his arrest affidavit. The youth said Tucker also gave him alcohol.

Tucker knew the boy from Tucker's career as a pianist and organist, according to the affidavit. The boy said Tucker provided musical accompaniment for his violin performances in various concerts around the state, according to the affidavit.

Tucker was First Wayne Street United Methodist Church music director and its organist from 2002 until he was fired Wednesday, according the Rev. Gregory Enstrom, First United's pastor.

Tucker also worked part time as an accompanist for the university singers at IPFW during the spring semester, according to IPFW spokeswoman Susan Alderman.

His contract ended May 13. Alderman wouldn't comment on whether the contract will be renewed.

Tucker also faces a sexual misconduct with a minor charge in Wells County. He is due in Allen Superior Court on Tuesday.
