Sweetwater Sound recently hired 19 full-time employees. Ten of the new employees are sales engineers. They are: Mike Baldonado,
a native of Albuquerque, N.M., and a graduate and instructor at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, and a jazz horn player; Brandon Eden, from Oxnard, Calif., where he worked at Fry's Electronics, has a B.A. in music and sound recording from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah; Justin Fairfax, a native of Norwalk, Iowa, has an AAS degree in audio engineering from the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis; Joey Herrington is originally from West Unity, Ohio, is a graduate of the Full Sail Recording Arts program in Winter Park, Fla., has worked at Nob Hill Records, Guitar Center and Digidesign in San Francisco as a test engineer for the Pro Tools 8 project; Jeff Payton, a recent graduate of the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, has a B.A. in music marketing from the University of Ohio; Adam Pearson comes from Carbondale, Ill., where he earned a master's degree in media arts from Southern Illinois University; Andy Reierson, from Monticello, Minn., is a recent graduate of the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, and is a guitar and bass player; Ron Rust, recently retired from Chrysler in Kokomo, has been both a studio and live musician, and also a live sound engineer, for 25 years; Ryan Scherb, a pianist from Duluth, Minn., has earned certificates from McNally Smith in St. Paul and the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Ariz., recently completed a B.A. in music at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and has also completed internships at Signet Sound Studios in Hollywood and the Weber Concert Hall in Duluth; Dave Shaw, from Decatur, Ill., has a degree in computer information systems from Eastern Illinois University and received his certificate from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Ariz. Jeremy Wright, from Seymour, has earned certificates in audio engineering from Vincennes University and the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Science in Tempe, Ariz., has toured with James Taylor, Sheryl Crow and Three Dog Night, and was most recently a regional manager with Auralex Acoustics; and Patrick Ziders, from Pittsburgh, a classically trained percussionist who received his B.A. in music technology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

Other new employees are: sales assistant Abbey McKeever, currently attending IPFW, majoring in health services; accounting assistant Denver DeSeranno, pursuing a business degree at IPFW, who has 13 years of experience as a revenue processor at Sirva; shipping specialist Joby Adams, who has an associate of science degree in recording arts from Full Sail Real World Education in Winter Park, Fla.; shipping specialist Rick Graber, pursuing a bachelor's degree at IPFW; shipping specialist Andy White, from Roanoke, who has experience in shipping and receiving; shipping specialist Drew Edmondson, who is studying criminal justice at Ivy Tech Community College, is a volunteer firefighter and police cadet for Allen County, and has worked for the Saxton Group as a nurseryman; and shipping specialist Ray Cruz, studying health care administration at Brown Mackie College.
