♦Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast recently recognized employees for length of service. Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne announced that Carl Drummond, dean of the IPFW College of Arts and Sciences and professor of geology, has received the James H. Shea Award through the National Association of Geoscience Teachers at the Geological Society of America's annual meeting. The award is given for exceptional contributions in the form of writing and/or editing of earth science materials that are of interest to the general public and/or teachers of earth science. Chancellor Michael A. Wartell is the recipient of the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Award.

♦RE/MAX Results announced that the sales team headed by John Sullivan ranked in the top 25 of RE/MAX of Indiana for total year-to-date closed sales in dollars for the third quarter of 2009.

♦Century 21 Bradley announced that Kendall Overmyer, a broker/Realtor, has again been named a top agent for individual production.

♦The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana has selected Terrance McCaffrey as executive director, effective Nov. 16.
