Pregnant women can get the H1N1 flu vaccine until 7 p.m. today at the Carew Medical Park.
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health also announced the following vaccine clinics this week:
· Wednesday, 2-6:30 p.m. (Priority groups identified below)
· Thursday, 1-6:30 p.m. (Priority groups identified below)
· Friday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Firefighters and EMS workers by invitation only)
The health department continues to reserve the H1N1 vaccine for people most at risk for serious flu complications, including pregnant women, people who live with or care for infants less than 6 months of age, children and young adults, and healthcare and emergency medical services workers.
More shipments of the H1N1 vaccine arrived this week, and the priority groups eligible for it will expand soon.
