Betsy M. Collier was presented the Lorine Peters Humanitarian Award at the Elex Club's recent annual volunteer recognition banquet and installation ceremony.
The award, which has been presented since 1996, salutes a club member for “exemplary service, dedication and unselfish commitment to Elex Club, its members and to Elex Community Connection,” Jan Hoopingarner, Elex Club management liaison for BAE Systems, said in a news release.
Elex Club is a philanthropic, volunteer organization affiliated for more than 90 years with General Electric and BAE Systems in the Fort Wayne area, Hoopingarner said.
