It's Black Friday. Are you all shopped out, or did you avoid the stores today? Maybe you did your shopping from the comfort of home, pointing and clicking or dialing 1-800.

Despite all the hype over Black Friday, there are still exactly four weeks left until Christmas, and plenty of opportunities remain for you to part with your money.

Glenbrook incentive

If you spend at least $100 at Glenbrook Square before noon Saturday, you'll get a $10 Shop Etc. mall gift card and a bonus subscription to Martha Stewart Living magazine. Just bring your mall receipts to the Merry Giving Gift Zone located near Center Court. By the way, the mall opens at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Jewelry show at Macy's

Macy's is hosting an estate jewelry show noon-8 p.m. Monday. The jewelry will be from the 1800s to the 1930s and will include antique cut diamonds, vintage rings, unusual gemstones and many one-of-a-kind pieces. Reservations are recommended. Call Macy's fine-jewelry department at 484-1561, Ext. 3497.

TinCaps items for sale

Are you looking for TinCaps merchandise this holiday season? The team has opened a store at Glenbrook Square, near Macy's, where you can get shirts, hats, jerseys and other novelties. It will be open through Dec. 27. You also can go to the Parkview Field store, open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, or buy merchandise online at www.TinCaps.com.

Holiday art show

Artists will demonstrate their crafts this weekend at Artworks Holiday Art Gallery, 4150 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Jefferson Pointe next to Barnes & Noble. From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, jeweler Virginia Nance will work on a piece of bead embroidery. On Sunday, Beth Wheeler and Lori Marquette of Two Sipsters Studio will work on a piece of Threadography from 1 to 4 p.m. Each piece begins as a photograph, then is altered on a computer and printed on fabric, where Wheeler “paints” color and texture using a sewing machine.

Buy handmade handbags online

An Ossian entrepreneur is selling her handmade handbags online through Etsy.com, a Web-based marketplace. Vanessa (Isch) Stoller's bags can be found at www.lynndavid.etsy.com. The bags are made of designer cotton fabrics in bold prints and come in two sizes: a clutch and a 13-inch-by-11-inch by 5-inch tote with a 26-inch strap. The clutches cost $55 and the bags cost $60.

Skin-care offer

Bonne Chimie, an online customized skin-care boutique, is offering 50 percent off one item in the store now through Monday. Shop online at http://stores.virtualbonnechimie.com/fortwayne or call 432-5576 and use promo code Thanks09.

A bag with hope

Pick up a reusable “Bringing Hope to the Table” shopping bag for $1.99 at Kroger and Scott's through December; $1.30 from each bag sold will benefit a local food bank.

Florist closing

In case you didn't see it in Saturday's News-Sentinel, the Posey Shoppe Florist and Gifts shop in the Village at Coventry is closing. The store plans to sell and deliver flowers through the end of the year, the owners said.
