New book

Dixie Landis Bradley of Fort Wayne has written “Final Exam,” about an IPFW guest lecturer who is abducted and murdered by three students. Bradley's third book is published by CreateSpace and is sold by Amazon.com.

Poetry jam

Poetry reading

Half Price Books will host poetry readings at 3 p.m. on the last Sunday of every month, beginning Sunday. The winners of the first Half Price Books high school poetry contest will read their entries Sunday before the floor is opened up to the public. Good night, Garrett!

Garrett Public Library will host a family literacy event, “Good night Garrett!” Families with children through Grade 4 can attend 5-7 p.m. Feb. 6 to listen to storytelling and see storybook characters, clowns, therapy dogs and do crafts.
