Grab your camera and lend a lens today with the Allen County Public Library's “A Day in Allen County 2010” photo project.
This year, the library plans to create photo essays on what life is like in Allen County on the first day of spring — which is today — and the first day of winter, a news release said. You have until 11:59 p.m. today to take photos for submission for the spring essay.
The library will display the photos April 11-17 during National Library Week, but cannot guarantee all photos submitted will be used.
E-mail digital pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before March 27. You can drop off 3-by-5 prints or photos on other media (CDs, Zip files, or DVDs) at any ACPL location on or before March 27. No negatives or slides will be accepted.
The library also advises you to keep a copy of your photo(s) if you like it because no photos will be returned, the news release said. All photos submitted also become the property of the Allen County Public Library.
