Thanks to Stumps Tree Removal & Marcum Tree Service for removing the tree (large pin oak with split trunk in backyard of Lakeside neighborhood home) for free.

In the last two weeks I have been to our “county” building — now Rousseau Building — to pay our property taxes. Both times I parked in the parking garage, and both times I was not charged for my parking. My question is: When it was the City-County Building, why were we, the people, always charged?

I’m really sick and tired watching our police officers abuse the power. … They are supposed to be an example for the people. If they can’t obey the law; they should not be in a position of power. Fire them!

America’s idealogical hatred of who it perceives drug users to be keeps it from a more logical policy towards illicit drugs. The lock ’em up mentality is a grotesque abuse of human rights.

The person accused of driving his vehicle into the back of a van and killing a child is arrested and is in jail, while another person who admitted driving over 60 mph and texting at the same time kills Amish children and is still walking free … .

Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama goes to Afghanistan to celebrate his murder of Osama bin Laden. Hm-m-m. Hey, lefty Democrats! How many friends are we going to make over there with another Obama goodwill gesture like this? Answer: Not many.

… I personally emailed the sheriff of Allen County to ask him to address the excessive speeding in my neighborhood, only to be told he was too short-staffed. He’d “do what we can.” Yet, on a report of fireworks, they dispatched four squad cars to my neighborhood … (on a recent) night. Wow.
