Now that the weather is warm, young ladies and middle-aged women can reveal more of their body scribblings (tattoos). They are also revealing their own feelings of inferiority, in thinking the natural beauty that God gave them is not enough.

On April 30, you intentionally swerved off Brush College Road, and ran down my friend's chickens. Those were pets… . The hens' mates cried out pitifully the rest of the day. It was heart-breaking. … One wonders how you treat people, if this is what you do to defenseless animals.

Did you ever review the bankruptcy report and wonder who is paying for all the debts in excess of assets. Seems like it is us. The penalties for declaring bankruptcy of having seven years of no credit cards, bad credit rating, etc., do not seem to deter folks. … There needs to be more penalties.

Did you ever look at the felony report? Seems like most of the perpetrators are young in their 20s. I wonder if they all have jobs which might prevent them from committing some of the perceived crimes that they are charged with. Hmmmm.

Nothing brings fans out to a game like a possible championship, like Saturday with the Komets. Temporary fans that come out for games like this need to come to more games to support the team. For me, personally, these temporary fans are like a sore that you need to get rid of and would hope to never see again.

To the woman driving the red Toyota at the Southtown shopping center May 5: You did not have the right of way! Shame on you for not knowing the traffic laws and nearly causing an accident.

Oil prices dropped below $100 a barrel … (recently), the biggest drop in six months. So why was the price at the pump $3.99 a gallon?

To the anti-voucher crowd: Forcing all schools to be either religious or atheist would be unconstitutional. Free choice would never be.

It seems that today elections go not necessarily to the candidate most skilled or experienced but to the candidate and supporters who spend the most money. … So instead of campaigns and elections, let's just auction off offices to the highest bidder and use the proceeds to pay down the national debt.

If you whine that President Obama is “politicizing” the anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden, I have a three-word question for you: Remember “Mission Accomplished”?

Why isn't the God-awful music coming from the ice cream truck considered a violation of the city noise ordinance?

If Tom Henry was so keen on the proposed changes to contracting business with the city of Fort Wayne, why wasn't he proactive in voluntarily implementing the changes before being required by City Council vote? Hasn't that always been in the best interest of the citizens?

It sure is nice of the … (Indiana Department of Transportation) to provide all of those nesting and roosting areas in the new Clinton Street bridge for the pigeons.

It's just wrong for an elected official to expect a town to hire another person to do his job and at the same time pay him for not doing his job. It's collecting pay for doing nothing in return.
