BIRDSEYE, Ind. — Indiana conservation officers are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Saturday in southern Indiana's Patoka Lake.
Conservation officer Jim Schreck said Sunday that investigators are still tracking down leads in the case, but no foul play is suspected in the man's death in the lake about 50 miles south of Bloomington.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday on the man's body, which was found by a recreational boater shortly after noon Saturday about 50 feet from the shoreline.
Schreck says the man was not wearing a lifejacket, but a small raft was discovered floating nearby. The man's body was found in Orange County near the Crawford County line.
