Marriage issue shows where Obama stands
I address my comments to those who share the same belief that I do, that marriage is to be between a man and a woman. I believe in creation as stated in the Holy Bible. God created man, and then, from Adam’s rib, created woman (Eve) to be his helpmate. God did not create another male to be Adam’s helpmate.
So, were any of you, who believe as I do, surprised that Obama “came out of the closet” with his blessing on gay marriage?
I suggest that a movement, using you all as the nucleus, be started to boycott every business that supports that issue. If large numbers of people who oppose gay marriage will boycott these businesses, it will hit them where it hurts, in the income. And when their income gets hit, then they start to pay attention.
Also, on the same line, I strongly suggest that the movies whose stars are in bed with Obama be avoided also. Poor showing at the box office and financial loss to those people just might be a wakeup call to them that they are on the wrong side of freedom. If they want socialism so badly, then we should help them pack their bags and depart from our shores.

Pay China with coal
Some day China is going to call in their debt. Paying in money is out of the question. Might I suggest coal? China is the No. 1 importer of our coal. So harvest and use this vast resource. Ship it to China at a rate of exchange that we will control. This would retire the debt and pay our workers a. decent wage. We hire more coal miners, thus more jobs and tax revenue. We tax the coal industry only on what is consumed in the U.S.
We then can keep all of our oil and gas here in the U.S. and reduce the cost of petrol energy. At the same time, we can invest more money to improve our transit systems that will haul this coal. I’m sure we can find a dozen faults and excuses to delay any such action.
But if this country continues to ignore the looming debt load we owe to the world and to ourselves, I predict it will be all of us on our hands and knees harvesting coal for our new cardboard homes.

Protect borders first
The United States spent $1 trillion on the war in Iraq just to make things worse. We could have used half of that money to provide medical insurance for everyone and to make sure our own borders are secure.
We do have the fifth-largest border in the world. The terrorists have to love us while we are getting distracted playing war games with Nomadic hillbilly terrorists. They have their sights on the big prize — 9/11 was horrible, but it could have been a lot worse: 3,000 people died, but how many people could die from a nuke detonating in a large city? What am I thinking? Iran would never sell a nuke, just as Pakistan would never harbor a terrorist.
