Chris Bauman was recently named to lead the media relations for the Indiana Tech athletic department.
Bauman has spent the past two years as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information Department and served as the primary contact for several of Tech's 22 varsity programs.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to further my career at Indiana Tech," Bauman said in a release. "The experience I gained as a graduate assistant was invaluable and I'm looking forward to helping the Warrior athletic programs continue to grow.”
Bauman's duties will include working with members of the media, producing athletics publications and press releases and maintaining the department's website.
Prior to his time at Indiana Tech, the Bluffton University graduate gained experience as a student assistant in the Sports Information Department at Bluffton while earning degrees in sport management and business administration.
He also graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Tech in 2012.
Chris currently resides in Decatur with his wife Andréa.
