BOSTON — Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart will lead the BBC Concert Orchestra in the Diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II.

The concert to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the queen's ascension to the throne will be held on a stage in front of Buckingham Palace on Monday.

The musical celebration will be attended by the queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal Family. It will be broadcast live worldwide.

Lockhart will return to the United States Tuesday to continue the Boston Pops spring season, which culminates at Symphony Hall in Boston on June 16.
