“Most Catholics” who disagree with church teachings shouldn't spend one more minute kneeling before God. Thou dost protest, so go sit with the Protestants. If that leaves 1 percent true Catholics, so be it. God will never abandon his Church, no matter how small.

Voting is a constitutional right in our country. But Republicans, for many months now, have been making efforts across the country to suppress the vote. Making it harder for certain people to vote — college students, elderly, blacks, poor. Supposedly to stop fraudulent voting, which is nearly non-existent. Wake up!
To the daily rant(er) who said “... and see health care as a right of all.” Since when do you and your ilk have a “right” to the fruits of my labor? All you have is a right to provide for yourself.
With all the lost jobs, the foreclosed homes, the lost taxation … will our poorer children someday look back and say; were the cheap products really worth it?
An actual email sent from a local school: If you are calling your student in sick on an exam finals day, your student must make contact with their teachers, in advance, to schedule a day and time to make up their finals. How would I know in advance if my student is going to be sick?
I'm glad Mike Pence loves his wife, family and Indiana. But so what? I, too, love my wife, family and Indiana, but I would make a really lousy governor.
To Bob Morris: On the bottom of the Web page for the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend, there is a large button you can click on to report sexual abuse. You don't see that on the Girl Scouts' Web page. Makes me proud to be a Catholic!
