Indiana and Allen County Right to Life organizations will conduct the 8th annual "Pro-Life Boot Camp" for students June 22 and 23 on the campus of the University of St. Francis. The camp is designed to equip high school and college students with the critical tools necessary to defend life in a secular market place of ideas.
This year three levels of training will be available: Pro-life 101 lays the crucial foundation for the pro-life position and equips students to articulate the case for life; Pro-life 201 will build on the basics and prepare returning students to respond to abortion/choice arguments; and Pro-life 301 will equip advanced students to successfully argue for life in speeches, writings and formal debates. The students will also have a variety of workshops from which to choose.
The camp kick-off event June 22 at 7 p.m. is open to the public. The event in the university's North Auditorium at 2702 Spring Street will featured speakers Kristen Hawkins, Executive Director of National Students for Life, and Scott Klusendorf, expert in bioethics and apologetics and founder of Life Training Institute.
No tickets are necessary to attend the kickoff event. To register for the Student Boot Camp visit www.ichooselife.org or call the Allen County Right to Life office at 260-471-1849.
