You may drop off at Pet Supplies Plus on Coldwater Road (open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday) or at our shelter at 4914 Hanna St. We are open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
Low-cost microchipping Saturday
Allen County SPCA will offer low-cost microchipping for the public, while supplies last, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. This service traditionally costs more than $35, plus a vet visit.
We will offer this service to any spayed or neutered cat or dog for just $15. It will include nationwide registry for the pet as well. The microchip itself is very small and the process takes less than five minutes to complete.
Bring proof of spay or neuter and have pet restrained on a leash or carrier. All proceeds benefit the homeless animals at the Allen County SPCA. For more information email info@acspca.org or call 744-0454, Ext. 202.
Future dates are July 21 and August 18.
PETCO adoption event
Allen County SPCA will participate in a summer adoption event 11 a.m.-2 p.m. June 23 in the parking lot of PETCO, 315 Coliseum Blvd. E., next to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Freebies for the public include items for cats and dogs. Drawings will also be held for some larger giveaways.
To help speed up your application process, the public is encouraged to bring copies of vet records for current or past pets and any lease agreements. Homeless animals on hand will be all ages and breeds.
For more information email info@acspca.org or call 744-0454, Ext. 202, or contact the PETCO store at 471-4350.
Holiday closing
Due to the Independence Day holiday, the Allen County SPCA will be closed July 1-July 4, reopening at 11am July 5.
