MATHEMATICAL MOVEMENTS: The arts and sciences unite in “The Boy Who Wanted to Count,” a performance by the Fort Wayne Dance Collective. The show tells the story of 13-year-old Casey as he experiences a unique adventure. The cast is made up of 150 child and adult students of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, as well as dancers from Bi-County Services in Bluffton. HOMES AND GARDENS, OH MY!: Take a trip to the historic Wildwood Park neighborhood of Fort Wayne's near-southwest side. Learn about the period architecture of the homes and enjoy a variety of gardens during the walk. The tour takes place noon-5 p.m. at Wildwood Park neighborhood at Ardmore Avenue and West Jefferson Boulevard. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the tour. COUNTRY TIME: Five local bands come together on one stage for the “Down the Country Line” concert. Songs from country stars Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Hank Williams Sr. will be performed by local bands The Twang Gang, Sugar Shot, Staci Stork and Scarlett, Allan & Ashcraft, and Huckleberry Blue. “Outside the Circle: Woodturning in Indiana” has showcased wooden works created with a lathe in Indiana.
“Challenging the Figure: Works by Loren Olsen” features pieces that are graphite on a translucent plastic film. The drawings are presented in different formats and combined with digital features.
