INDIANAPOLIS — Police say a 30-year-old man was fatally shot inside a pickup truck at a convenience store on the west side of Indianapolis.
Officers were called to the store about 3 a.m. Friday, where the passenger in the truck was shot while it was stopped at a gasoline pump.
Speedway police Sgt. Jim Thiele says investigators were looking for a car that sped away from the store.
Police say the pickup truck's driver wasn't hurt. Numerous shell casings were found on the ground near the truck.
