How can an East Allen County Schools board member who is also affiliated with a charter school in town be allowed to continue on the EACS board? Wouldn't this obvious conflict of interest taint any decisions he might make for EACS?
This whole thing with the sheriff and councilman is just sleazy, the only reason it will be tolerated around here is because they have a big R behind their names on the ballot. They should be ashamed.
With the recall vote in Wisconsin, it has become frighteningly apparent that we have to get money out of politics. If we don't, the rich will be the ones controlling our government from here on out! And the middle class and poor will always be on the losing end!
No one is trying to suppress the vote. Most people have a photo ID or can get one. If a person does not think it's important to have one for identification, they shouldn't be voting.
Why pay more for water- and energy-efficient appliances to save money and reduce your usage just to have the utility companies raise your monthly service bill because of the reduced usage. What a savings. Maybe they need to cut some internal company costs instead.
