Aqua Indiana is asking customers in Aboite Township to water their lawns every other day to reduce demand by 10 percent. Despite high temperatures, low humidity and no significant rain in the forecast, Aqua said in a news release that minimizing lawn irrigation itself is all that’s needed to ensure adequate water pressure.
Aqua asks customers with an even-numbered street address to water on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Those with an odd-number address are urged to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Customers are asked to follow this schedule until further notice.
