A firefighter was injured while battling a blaze at an empty house. The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called at 2:08 a.m. today to a reported structure fire at 2121 Paulding Road. Firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from the two-story vacant or abandoned house. They had the blaze under control in 29 minutes. The firefighter received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
