•Manchester College has hired Dave Haist, retiring CEO of Do it Best Corp., to serve as the alumni relations leader. He has three decades of leadership experience. He succeeds Gary Montel.

Life Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, has named Steve Scott executive director. He earned his undergraduate degree in Christian ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master's degree in divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Vera Bradley executive vice president of philanthropy and community relations Jill Nichols is resigning to spend more time with her family and continue volunteer efforts in northeast Indiana. She will remain active on the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer board.

has hired Bonnie Hanson as chief operating officer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in health promotion and disease prevention studies at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and her master's in health services administration at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Her administrative residency was with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and her administrative fellowship with Meriter Health Services, Madison, Wis.

Premier Realtors announces the affiliation of Emily Simpson as a sales associate. She has more than 25 years' experience in real estate, specializing in first-time homebuyers, residential sales, investment and marketing properties in northeast Indiana.
