Thursday, June 21, 2012 - 3:45 am

A recent Indiana Tech graduate is going to get the opportunity continue his baseball career at the professional level.

Eric Zagone just completed his career with the Warriors this spring and has signed a deal with the White Sands Pupfish.

In two years with the Warriors, the right-hander went 15-5 with a 3.74 earned run average, earning back-to-back Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. He finished his Tech career among the all-time school strikeout leaders with 120.

The White Sands Pupfish are part of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs, which is an independent professional baseball league.
