Words are not enough to thank the gentleman, known to me only as “Mike,” who came along after I fell on the sidewalk near North Side High School during the Germanfest 10K Volksmarch. He was a complete stranger to me, but he immediately offered to get his vehicle and took me to Parkview's emergency room. I should have taken his full name so I could thank him myself, but I hope he knows what an angel he was to help me.
On June 11, I had a fall at Parkview Field, and I would like to thank those who came to my aid and ministered to me. The Fort Wayne police officer who was directing traffic, the medical personnel at Parkview Field, men from out of town who were in Fort Wayne attending an ambulance equipment meeting who happened on the scene and helped out, the medical personnel at Whitley County Hospital and others like the Fort Wayne ambulance crew. Everyone's kindness and helpfulness were greatly appreciated!
Many thanks to Eric at LJ's Discount Medical on Coliseum Boulevard. I have a disability, and Eric was very knowledgeable about devices that are available to make my life easier. He was very patient with me and spent a lot of time on the phone explaining the products available. If they don't have what is needed, they can order it in a timely fashion. LJ's really cares about the person and their needs.
