INDIANAPOLIS — Two people have been treated for cuts from flying glass after a northern Indiana man drove his car through a plate glass window at a restaurant on the east side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Fire Department spokeswoman Lt. Bonnie Hensley says the two people injured both were treated and released at the scene of the crash Saturday at a Hardee's restaurant.
She says 82-year-old Carl Thelin of Mishawaka told police that he was pulling into a parking spot and his foot got stuck under the brake and went through a large plate glass window, sending glass flying into the dining area.
Hensley says the building is structurally sound and did not close
