19-year-old woman dead after Saturday motorcycle-truck collision

A woman who was critically injured Saturday morning after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck died later that afternoon.

According to a news release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, 19-year-old Ashley Storm was the passenger on a motorcyle that crashed at the intersection of Hillegas Road and Goshen Road around 10:58 a.m. She was transported from the scene in critical condition and died later at a local hospital.

Jacob Bunker, also 19, was the driver of the motorcycle. He was still in serious condition as of Sunday morning.

No details have been released about how the crash took place, but police said yesterday that the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt after the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
