Oh, WOWO is me
What is happening to our WOWO radio? A couple years ago, Fort Wayne lost a very talented and experienced newsman named Pat White.
I thoroughly enjoyed Pat’s local and national info sprinkled with some trivia stories that really had nothing to do with anything but would make me smile nonetheless. I have heard many rumors about what exactly Mr. White said that got him immediately pulled off the air and, quite honestly, I was rather surprised that WOWO did not stand a bit stronger for such a talented individual.
Moving on, I grudgingly listened to his replacement Pat Miller. I tried at first not to like him but, by golly, after no more than a few days it was quite apparent where Mr. Miller stood in regard to God, country, work ethics, and American exceptionalism, both locally and nationally. Pat Miller is a true example of putting words into action in regard to traveling to every county all around Allen County in regard to speaking to other concerned Indiana Hoosiers. Pat Miller also, with no effort whatsoever, has had no difficulty in engaging in very straightforward conversations with any politician from both sides of the coin thus educating your listeners to additional information on many topics.
My conclusion is that WOWO has changed. WOWO has not stood behind not just one but two talented newsman. When Pat Miller was not on my dial, I decided to change that dial. Guess what? I found Pat White again on the radio on 1250 AM The River. I will make a concerted effort to support the advertisers on The River. I am disappointed in WOWO and am hoping that Charlie Butcher does not somehow “offend” someone and end up hitting the pavement.

Who runs WOWO?
Have always listened to WOWO talk shows starting with Paul Phillips, Pat White, Pat Miller, Gregg Henson. All had their own opinions, which was refreshing. Needless to say, my husband and I are conservatives. And a true conservative wouldn’t complain, maybe a RINO would.
Who runs WOWO? And why don’t have the chutzpah to stand behind the people they hire? Although we like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, It was nice looking forward to the 3-6 time slot with someone from Fort Wayne doing the show. Now who in their right mind would ever take this job? Whoever was behind this did WOWO no favors. Hopefully their will be enough of us to affect your advertisers.
