Fort Wayne Civic Theatre announces Anthony Award winners

Fort Wayne Civic Theatre on Monday announced winners of Anthony Awards for the 2011-12 season.

The Anthony Award honors outstanding performances both on stage and for behind-the-scenes technical work.

Recipients were:

•Excellence in Volunteerism Award: Jade Haag

•Excellence in Technical Theatre: James Velez and Heather Macon

•George H. Koegel Lifetime Achievement Award: David G. Ball, for his dedication and years as a volunteer, actor, marketing director, scenic designer and scenic artist for the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre.

On stage

•Outstanding Dance Performance (female): Bridget Pearson, “Chicago” and “Gypsy”

•Outstanding Dance Performance (male): Kristopher Andorfer, “Chicago” and “Gypsy”

•Outstanding Juvenile Performance: Shaniah Ramsey as Baby June in “Gypsy”

•Outstanding Ensemble Female Performance in a Play: Nan Durant as Betty in “The Farnsworth Invention”

•Outstanding Ensemble Male Performance in a Play: Scott D. Rumage as •Outstanding Ensemble Female Performance in a Musical: Leslie Beauchamp as Mona in “Chicago”

•Outstanding Ensemble Male Performance in a Musical: Chris Rasor as Sergeant Fogarty/Judge in “Chicago”

•Outstanding Supporting Female Performance in a Play: Regan Kreigh as Elaine Dickson in “Althea's Well”

•Outstanding Supporting Male Performance in a Play: Jeffery Moore as Vernon Wheeler in “Althea's Well”

•Outstanding Supporting Female Performance in a Musical: Jessica Butler as Louise in “Gypsy”

•Outstanding Supporting Male Performance in a Musical: Justin Herber as Amos Hart in “Chicago”

•Outstanding Leading Female Performance in a Play: Susan Domer as Althea Wheeler in “Althea's Well”
