The Angola Motor Speedway is under new ownership and will roar back into action on Saturday for its Grand Re-opening.
The event will feature the HOSS Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars, which will be brought to fans courtesy of Hoosier Metal Recycling.
ABC Stock Cars, Mini Stocks, Front Wheel Drive and Open Wheel Modified classes will also compete.
Over $20,000 in prize money is being awarded to drivers and will attract such stars as Angola’s Hank Lower, Ohio’s Jimmy McCune and Jerry Caryer, along with Fort Wayne drivers Chris Neuenschwander and Kyle Henry. Many other top drivers from throughout the tri-state area will be on hand to battle for the large purse being offered.
Special event pricing for this high powered show will be $18 for adults, $5 for Youth ages 11 through 15 and kids under 11 are free.
All Pit Passes for this event are $30.
The Pit Gates will open at 3 p.m. with hot laps at 4 p.m. Spectator gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and qualifying begins at 5:30 p.m. The racing will kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
Racing will continue each Saturday through September.
