We hired … (a local company) to take down a tree for us. … I asked them to leave the tree trunk in one piece. When we got home, it had been cut up. Not a big deal, but I called and left a message … I was not happy they did that. He called me back using foul language.
Paul Moss, do you know how to call a cab for yourself and or your daughters? Your poor judgment has put our sheriff in a terrible position. Wow.
No voter suppression? You need to get beyond your little world. Many thousands — blacks, elderly, poor — don't have or need a driver's license. And would have difficulty finding transportation or money to obtain photo ID. Being able to vote should be easier, not harder, for U.S. citizens.
I've had to go and get a new ID for one of my children, and I can see how easy it is for the poor to not have the needed paperwork (to vote). I do all my bill paying online. I don't get utilities bills in the mail, which you have to have to prove your address.
To the radio “DJ” who reads these posts each Thursday! Don't be so sexist to think every rant is from the male's point of view. Women need to sound off, too, and it's about time you let your female counterpoint speak on the radio!
Shame on … (a local television station) for canceling “Noon Extra.” Corinne Rose is a wonderful host. We need this informative, quality show back on. … Listen to the viewers you have lost.
We want a full newscast and the educated guests of the “Noon Extra” with Corinne Rose hosting the show. Corinne, we're trying to make our voices heard and get this show back on. We'll keep trying until we do.
So, it is OK to force out the current (IPFW) chancellor because of his age and who has done a tremendous job at IPFW and hire a new chancellor who is the same age, but she gets the option to stay … (several) years if she chooses. Something is terribly wrong with this picture.
