Mr. President, most of us do not approve
“They have gone about as far as they can go.” Do you remember those lyrics from “Oklahoma” when the young men returned from their visit to Kansas City? That was a century ago.
What would they say today? Well, sing it again kids. For the first time a sitting president of the United States has put his stamp of approval on same-sex marriage. Sorry, Mr. President, but 32 of your states do not approve of what you just approved. In fact, over 60 percent of your citizens do not approve. The majority of evangelical churches do not approve. The majority of black churches do not approve. The majority of Jewish synagogues do not approve. The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testament, do not approve.
Who are you standing with, Mr. President? Biblical hermeneutics is the science of interpreting the Bible. Its purpose is to know the different principles of Bible study. One of the principles is the first mention principle. This principle teaches that the first mention of a word, expression or subject is the key to its subsequent meaning. The first time a subject is mentioned in Scripture, it carries with it a meaning that will be carried all through the Word of God.
When marriage is first mentioned in the Bible in the book of Genesis, it is between one man and one woman. That truth continues through the Old and New Testaments. The Lord Jesus Christ in the book of Matthew, chapter 19, confirms it. The relationship of men with men is condemned in Leviticus 18:22, and it continues to Romans 1:27. It is tragic when something as vital and sacred as marriage becomes political rather than biblical.
Call it what you will, but the union of two men or two women is not marriage. On the TV program “The View,” the president called it a “wonderful relationship.” Please! Call it a civil union, call it being on the verge of an urge to merge, but do not call it marriage. The biblical purpose of marriage can only be fulfilled by one man and one woman. Have we “Gone about as far as we can go?” Where did the president go right after announcing his approval of same sex unions? Where else? Wasn't it to a great presidential fundraiser in the Hollywood swamp? Were they for it? You bet! They gave millions of dollars to show their convictions. Where do your loyalties and convictions lie, Mr. President? With biblical and Christian convictions of the Bible, or the failing, faulty convictions of the flesh and anti-biblical standards? Please, Mr. President, “We have gone about as far as we can go!” Don't lead us any farther that way!

Reverse discrimination
A few weeks ago, WANE-TV had a segment about racism here in Allen County. What I am writing about is reverse discrimination. I live in a black area, which is east central. I have lived at my home since June 7, 2000. I have a wonderful group of people that live in the east central area except for one lady that continues to harass me. She had called the police and said that I had stolen her yard brick once in '08, and then there was a knock on my door and it was a Fort Wayne Police officer, asking me once again, “had I taken her bricks.” Enough is enough. I'm on disability and I mind my own business, yet she continues; now I know what racism truly feels like. Why am I hated? I believe it's because I'm white. I have tried to be nice and respectful to her but she continues on, first and foremost I love all people of all races, but something must be done, we must open up a dialogue with the black community. We must live on this planet as one. I never thought I would see race and bigotry rear its ugly head

Bible is truth
The Holy Bible, God's holy word, is true for all times, it makes a clear distinction between right and wrong, and that is why secular humanists and atheists hate it and want it removed from public viewing and any symbols referring to it. They cannot stand the idea that there is an absolute right or wrong way about anything.
So if you wish to reject the truth of the Holy Bible, then all you have left is to accept the great lies of Satan.
