Make-A-Wish will host its inaugural UAW/GM Fort Wayne Walk for Wishes on Saturday at Headwaters Park.
The community walk will raise money to grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish hopes to raise more than $25,000.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday with the walk to follow at 10 a.m. at Headwaters Park, 330 S. Clinton St.
Major sponsors include UAW/GM, Kelley Automotive, Lucky Harley-Davidson,
Heartland Vision and Northeast Indiana Chevy Dealers as well as hospitality and water-stop sponsors Mancino's, Applebee's and Canteen Vending.
