10,000 more without power after another storm hits Fort Wayne

Friday, July 6, 2012 - 6:41 am

A strong storm front that swept over Allen County early Thursday evening has Indiana Michigan Power Co. estimating that an additional 10,000 customers are without power after heavy rain and strong winds whipped the area, according to our news partners at News Channel 15. Those fresh outages are in addition to the nearly 4,000 who were still without electricity after last Friday's storm.

People posting news of their own outages on social media are from widely separated areas in Fort Wayne, including far northeast, near northeast, far south, near southwest and southeast.
