A drug store on the IPFW campus and an ice cream, doughnut/coffee shop and convenience store on Bluffton Road lead a list of projects seeking approval from city and county planners.
According to applications filed with the Allen County Department of Planning Services, CVS wants to build a pharmacy on 3.2 acres on university-owned property at Crescent and Hobson Roads. RCI Development of Fort Wayne is also planning a separate building on the site with businesses that will cater to students, although company spokesman Todd Ramsey declined to identify prospective tenants.
Bluffton-based National Oil Co., meanwhile, is proposing a Dairy Queen, Dunkin' Donuts and convenience store on 3.3 acres in the 4300 block of Bluffton Road.
Two senior housing projects will also be considered by planners next month. Nineteen single-family units would be added at the Courtyards at Dawson Creek on Till Road, and 72 units 72 units in buildings of four units each would be added at Maysville Landing on Maysville Road near Stellhorn Road.
