The 34th Wing Ding, the national convention of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, brought 7,500 attendees to Fort Wayne, along with up to 1,000 vendors and others, according to Visit Fort Wayne. “We are still in the process of talking to hotels and getting their final rooming lists, which will make our numbers more firm, but we still feel confident that this group spent between $4.5 and $5.5 million in our community,” said Kristen Guthrie, marketing manager for Visit Fort Wayne. From July 3 to 7, Fort Wayne played host to this gathering of riders devoted to their Honda Gold Wings.
