Report damage

Residents are reminded to help with a citywide damage assessment by reporting storm damage to the State of Indiana's Department of Homeland Security at www.in.gov/dhs/. Click on the link "Report Damage from Severe Weather June 29, 2012," in the middle of the page.

Saturday, July 14, 2012 - 5:01 am

Sunday will be the last day for residents to drop off debris from the June 29 severe storm at Fort Wayne's temporary dump sites. The sites are Swinney Park Pool, Conklin Pavilion at Shoaff Park and the Tillman Road dump.

Friday is the last day to dispose of tree debris free of charge at the city's Biosolids Facility, 6210 Lake Ave., just west of Maplecrest Road. On Saturday, the facility will return to its regular fee schedule of $17 per ton with a $1 minimum. The facility is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

The city will continue collecting debris curbside with trash, a process that may take a few months.
