ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Art lovers are getting ready to converge on Ann Arbor for the city's annual art fairs.
The four-day celebration kicks off Wednesday, featuring four different fairs: The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, the State Street Area Art Fair and the South University Art Fair. The original Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is more than 50 years old.
The fairs in downtown Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan campus typically attract hundreds of thousands of visitors.
Besides art exhibits, the fairs feature music performances and family-oriented activities. Some shops also plan sidewalk sales.
