ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The city's annual art fairs began Wednesday and continues through Saturday, featuring four different fairs: The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, the State Street Area Art Fair and the South University Art Fair. The original Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is more than 50 years old.
The fairs in downtown Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan campus typically attract hundreds of thousands of visitors. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today-Friday and 10 a.m-6 p.m. Saturday.
Besides art exhibits, the fairs feature music performances and family-oriented activities. Some shops also plan sidewalk sales.
