Musical auditions
Grand Effect Productions will hold auditions for the musical “The Dress” at 6-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Spirits, 1915 S. Calhoun St. The show csalls for five singing females; five non-singing females; two singing males and three non-singing males.

Children’s choir auditions
The Fort Wayne Children's Choir will hold open auditions for ages 8-18 at 5 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Columbia City United Methodist Church, 605 N. Forest Parkway, Columbia City; and at 5 and 5:30 p.m. July 30 at IPFW's Rhinehart Music Center, 2101 Coliseum Blvd. E.

Trolley shopping
Free trolley service between downtown stores will be offered 11 a.m.-5 p.m. July 28 as part of Last Saturdays activities, a Downtown Improvement District news release said. The trolley will pass by about every 15 minutes in blocks with participating businesses. Large signs will mark the stops.
Park near a downtown shop or cultural attraction and ride the trolley to other downtown shopping stops, which include retailers and museum and other attractions' gift shops.
Whodunit auditions
Van Wert Civic Theatre will hold auditions for “Wrong Window!,” a play by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, at 7:30 p.m. Aug 1-2 at VWCT playhouse at 118 S. Race, Van Wert.
Directors Mary Ann Falk and Steve Lane need five men and three women for this comedy whodunit.
