To the city of Fort Wayne: Please stop renaming things. You are destroying our city's exceptional history. Every street, building and park is named for something or someone that is a part of our past. There are other ways to honor people.
People should be more informed about cooling stations in their area before storms happen. Storm hit on Friday, and Saturday we found out about a cooling station, but no one was there to assist us and no sandwiches or ice, lemonade, and no cold water.
Most of the motorcycle riders I see do not wear helmets. It is very depressing to think of these folks, and wonder if the person I see today is the obituary I read tomorrow. Why they think it can't happen to them is a mystery worth investigating.
The cops could write … (hundreds of) tickets a day to those who run the left-turn arrow red light at Coliseum Boulevard and Coldwater Road. And I don't mean yellow (lights) by any stretch of the imagination.
The person who ranted that they've never seen such disrespect for a duly elected president must have slept through George W. Bush's time as president. The disrespect he received from the Democrats and the media was far worse.
The silence is deafening. Sheriff Ken Fries and County Councilman Paul Moss have obviously concluded that the best way to deal with Moss' … (recent) traffic stop is to remain silent. No comments no matter what, and it will all blow over. Right fellas?
Repeal Obamacare and preserve freedom. Freedom for insurance companies to charge whatever they want and deny coverage to whoever they don't like for whatever reason.
Preserve water by turning off splash pads and not using swimming pools so much. I think splash pads are not needed. Kids should be doing other things.

Cigarettes or marijuana: One of the products contains the most addictive known drug and kills about 50 percent of its users; the other is illegal.
Hoosiers need to wake up to the fact that “water is the new oil.” … Many Hoosiers think they own the water, because they pay for it. Water is a commodity, folks! Water rates will be forever rising … whether you are a municipal customer or a private water customer.
Fighting the drug war comes at the expense of fighting society's real enemy: violent crime.
