Indiana Tech didn’t have to search far away to find the right person to lead its women’s lacrosse program.
Trine University graduate Emily Shreeve was named to lead the Warrior program on Friday.
“We are very excited to have Emily join our coaching staff,” Indiana Tech athletic director Martin Neuhoff said in a release. “She brings with her first-hand collegiate lacrosse playing experience and we are eager for her to share that with the athletes in our program.”
The Manchester, Maryland native brings nearly two decades of lacrosse playing experience to Fort Wayne, including her time at Trine, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education while being a standout player for the Thunder.
“That experience, and her knowledge, will lead the program in the right direction and take it to the next level,” Neuhoff said.
Shreeve was a two-time All-Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Second Team selection at attack, including in her senior season where she finished second on the team in goals and points. She scored 65 times in her career, leaving Trine as the fourth leading scorer in school history.
