To the people on Gates Drive using the driveway of the vacant house next to you, please pick up the tires you threw in the front yard! It is not your property. Throw the tires in your backyard! It makes our street look horrible!
The news is full of communities in financial crisis. So far, Fort Wayne is not one of them. Why then is Mayor Tom Henry (considering) spending so much of the $39 million from City Light now? Wouldn't a rainy day fund be more prudent considering the current national economic/political climate?
We are required by law inside of our vehicle to wear a seat belt for safety. Well, wouldn't it be common sense then for motorcyclists out in the open to have to wear helmets for safety?
