The Rant

The Rant is The News-Sentinel's anonymous sound-off forum. The readers' views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of The News-Sentinel.

Viewers want an interesting show (“Noon Extra”) that offers plenty of facts and information. I have also changed my channel.

Hard to understand the thinking of educators — today more than ever we need to give young people danger awareness of certain things, such as crossing streets, walking along roads, etc.

The right lanes on both sides of Coliseum Boulevard between Parnell Avenue and Lima Road should be changed to right-turn only. It is ridiculous to force a long line of vehicles, wanting simply to turn right at the intersection, to wait through the light cycle, burning expensive gas, sitting behind one person going straight.

The traffic lights … (on) North Clinton Street … (just north of Coliseum Boulevard) need attention. Time them, please! Northbound traffic is released at Coliseum Boulevard, invariably to be stopped dead at one or the other of these lights.

To the car tailgating me while I was waiting to turn left onto Vance Avenue: I heard you beep your horn, but I do have the right to turn left, so get over yourself.

I agree with all being said about Corinne Rose and her show, “Noon Extra.” I learned so much from that half-hour, and looked forward to it. Now, I shut the TV off at 12:20!

The war on drugs has turned many communities into war zones by relegating the lucrative drug trade to the underground black market.
