Free for members and $5 nonmembers; 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 16, Finance Program. Speaker will be Scott Cook, financial expert. The event is free; 6-7 p.m. Aug. 21, Exercise/Relaxation Sampler. The class is free and will feature Zumba; 2-4 p.m. Aug. 22, Foot Screenings with Dr. Dennis Chubinski, Parkview Physicians Group. Lifesaver honored
IPFW Police Officer Andrew T. Cottrell received the American Red Cross Lifesaving Team Award for the Professional Responder for his actions in helping save the life of James Momper July 25, 2011, at Shoaff Park Golf Course. The award was presented July 25 at IPFW.

Lung cancer run/walk
Free to Breathe Fort Wayne Lung Cancer 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk will begin with registration at 1 p.m. Sept. 16 at Headwaters Park, 330 S. Clinton St. The event will raise funds for the National Lung Cancer Partnership's Research, Education and Awareness Programs.
Cost will be $20 adults and $10 youth ages 10 and younger for online registration, which closes Sept. 12; $23 adults and $10 youth ages 10 and younger for mail-in registration, which closes Sept. 10; and $25 adults and $10 youth ages 10 and younger event day. All online and mail-in registrants are guaranteed an event T-shirt.
