Minor rant: When approaching the roundabout on Coventry Lane, the signs say “Yield to Traffic in Roundabout.” If you are driving on Coventry Lane and there are no cars in the roundabout, then you have the right of way. When you stop and wait on a car not in the roundabout, you create confusion!
Why do we have to subjected to one of the biggest wastes of taxpayers' money when we see wind farms in the background of TV commercials?
Yeah, the burn ban is lifted. Boo, why do you have to light your fireworks outside the holidays? Where is the police enforcing the law?
There is a tree limb loose, hanging on the tree yet, located on West Jefferson Boulevard and Jackson (Street). Can somebody please take care of it before it whacks my windshield? I would appreciate it and other drivers, too, I imagine.
I would like to know why the new Channel 15-2 is not CC (close-captioned)? No, they weren't CC back then. I also missed out a lot of what was said, too! Some old movies shown nowadays on other channels are CC so why not this one? (Editor's note: Here is what Antenna TV, which provides most programming on Channel 15.2, says on its website: “The classic shows and movies were produced mostly before closed-captioning was made available. Antenna TV is a new network, and it will take some time before all programs are closed-captioned.”)
