We have lost our life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
I can see how people get depressed and just want to end it all. I’ve felt that way before.
When everything just gets to be too much to deal with sometimes I wish we could just move away and leave everything behind and start over somewhere else. With the way things are nowadays it’s almost impossible to make it with the high cost of gas and food and everything else. It seems like everything keeps going up but our wages.
I started working at the age of 17 in 1960, and my wages were $1 an hour. And from then until now it’s only jumped to $8.25 an hour. It’s been 52 years and that’s all that minimum wage is. There’s something wrong somewhere. Social Security isn’t what it’s made up to be and has been a money supplier for the government to get into whenever they want money for a war or a cause overseas.
The thing is, whenever they take money out they’re supposed to pay it back with interest. But because they reneged on their promise to pay it back, Social Security is about broke and will not be around much longer. What’s hurting Social Security is that people don’t understand what Social Security was meant to be used for. It wasn’t meant to make the rich richer. It was supposed to be for people when they retired if they didn’t have enough money to live on.
But it’s been used over the years. I am 70, and all I get is $780 and have to support two people with that. My wife had to go to work but can only work three days a week. So all she makes is $20 a month plus she gets $226 a month disability. Even with that we can’t make it. Things are just too darned expensive.
Doctors, hospitals and surgery are way out of kilter. The price of gas is off the wall. What needs to be done is a freeze on all prices that can be charged. They need to put a cap on it or there is going to be a lot more robbing and break-ins. It is all happening thanks to the United States government.
If we’re not in a deep depression what do you call it? No jobs, higher prices, being told what we can and can’t do. We have lost our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. The thing about it, no one cares or they’d gather together to do something about it. See a change. But until then it’s just going to keep getting worse until the Lord comes back.

Ryan will offer choice in saving Medicare
My wife and I are two people who are delighted to see Rep. Paul Ryan selected as the running mate for Gov. Mitt Romney.
He brings some sense and logic to the problems at hand. One of these problems is what to do with Medicare. Rep. Ryan has shown a choice toward saving the program. Contrary to what most of the media and most of the Democrats say, he is not attempting to get rid of it and this must be the “lie of the year.”
George Soros, through his puppet, President Obama, is actually working toward a “single payer” health care. Look at what Soros says in this regard and the organizations he supports and what their goal is. This will get rid of Medicare and Medicaid and all other health plans, including private insurance. Those who are uninformed will deny this, and the media certainly is not honest.
(Some) say Ryan is radical and controversial, and certainly he does give America a choice between the GOP’s “we trust you” and the Obama and Democrats’ “trust us.” Ryan with his faith in the people and Obama with his elimination of “work hard to succeed” and add to this “you must contribute to my campaign.”
Rep.Ryan and Gov. Mitt Romney can and should battle Obama, Soros and the Dems on ideological grounds. The GOP, which is the party of freedom, versus the Dems with Obama and Soros who espouse the Communist/Marxist line. This has been proved by the takeover of GM, health care, insurance.
In a speech in Colorado Obama said he wanted to do the rest of the American industry what he did for GM and the auto industry. Yes, he nationalized GM and gave half ownership to the UAW. The stock for GM at the time of the bailout was approximately $39 per share, and it is now approximately $20 per share.
Yes, you did a wonderful job. GM and Chrysler still owe the American people $27 billion and $17 billion respectfully. This is not an accident, Obama intends to nationalize all industry.
