The News-Sentinel selected the 10 finalists and now it is up to you, the reader, to determine who should be the News-Sentinel Fan Choice Player of the Week. Vote for the area high school football player who you feel had the best performance during the weekend. The winner of this weekly award will be solely determined through online voting at news-sentinel.com. The polls are open now and will close at 8 p.m. Monday. The Fan Choice Player of Week, along with the Offense Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, will be announced in Tuesday's issue of The News-Sentinel.
Nic Weimer, East Noble quarterback -- 15-23-199 yards and three touchdowns vs. Northrop. Also rushed three times for 13 yards and another score.
Donavin O'Day, Snider defensive lineman -- Was part of a stout Panther defensive unit that held Bishop Luers to just 66 yards rushing. O'Day had a pair of sacks, including the game-sealer of Knight quarterback Quinn Cook.
Dalton Combs, Adams Central quarterback -- Completed 9 of 13 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Blackford.
CJ Jackson, North Side quarterback -- Rushed 16 times for 166 yards and two touchdowns, and completed 14 of 22 passes for 282 and four touchdowns against Concordia.
Collin Affolder, South Adams -- Made two interceptions and three tackles in a 13-0 win over Winchester.
D'Marcus Moon, Bishop Dwenger running back -- 37 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns in a win over South Side.
Chris Terry, Carroll quarterback -- Completed 7 of 9 passes for 138 yards and a TD in a win over Goshen. Also rushed 7 times for 63 yards and another TD.
Noah Follett, Garrett quarterback -- Completed 14 of 21 passes for 153 yards and three tds, and also rushed 11 times for 59 yards and another touchdown in a win over Eastside.
Brad Busse, Bellmont running back -- Rushed 18 times for 134 yards and one touchdown in a win over Woodlan.
TJ Sewell, Woodlan running back -- Rushed 11 times for 194 yards and two TDs and caught one pass for six yards. Also had an interception.
