Jazz fans may want to take a drive to Indy in mid-September: The Indy Jazz Fest offers seven days of music and fun from Sept. 10-16 at various venues.
Headliners are Stanley Clarke, George Duke and Brian Culbertson, but a variety of jazz styles will be presented.
The festival leads off with the Sunset Series of concerts Sept. 10-14 at various venues, such as The Cabaret at the Columbia Club, The Jazz Kitchen, Indiana Landmarks Center, Chrisel DeHaan Fine Arts Center and Opti Park. The Finale Weekend takes place Sept. 15-16 in Opti Park, 67th St. and College Avenue in the Broad Ripple neighborhood on the near northside of Indianapolis.

•Sept. 15: Robert Glasper Experiment, 5 p.m.; Karl Denson & Tiny Universe, 6:45p.m.; and Stanley Clarke/George Duke Bring It Tour. 8:45 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m.
